Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

AM Network is a pre-launch project building a blockchain-verified Zakat and Sadaqah platform. We are not yet a registered company and are not yet processing real donations or transferring funds. Contact: contact@amnetwork.io.

2. What we collect

Waitlist form

Email address (and name, if you provide it) so we can notify you before launch.

Recipient application form

If you apply for Zakat/Sadaqah assistance, we collect information needed to assess eligibility, including:

• Country, city, and contact details
• Household and family composition (dependents, minors, elderly)
• Income, expenses, assets, and debt situation
• Housing status and employment status
• Health and medical circumstances, where relevant to eligibility
• Any crisis or emergency situation you describe

You choose your privacy level when applying: fully anonymous (only city and category visible to donors) or show first name and city. Your full application details are never shown publicly regardless of which option you choose.

AI scoring quiz & Zakat calculator

These run entirely in your browser. Answers are used to calculate a score or a Zakat amount on your device and are not sent to our servers unless you separately submit the application form.

Automatically collected data

If you accept cookies via the banner, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand site traffic (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). Analytics is off by default and only activates after you click "Accept."

3. How we use your data

• To assess and score Zakat/Sadaqah applications
• To contact you about your application or the waitlist
• To improve our AI scoring methodology, using aggregated and anonymized patterns
• To measure and improve the website (only with analytics consent)

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising or share it with data brokers.

4. Where your data is stored

We currently rely on third-party services to operate the site. This is normal for an early-stage project, and we want to be transparent about exactly who processes your data:

These providers may process data outside your country of residence. We select providers with their own privacy and security commitments, but as a pre-launch project we do not yet have a formal Data Processing Agreement in place with each of them — this is on our roadmap as we approach our pilot phase.

5. Your rights

Regardless of where you are located, you can ask us at any time to:

• Show you what data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your application or waitlist entry
• Withdraw consent for analytics (via the cookie banner, or by clearing your browser storage)

If you are in the European Economic Area, these rights are protected under the GDPR. Email contact@amnetwork.io with your request — we aim to respond within 30 days.

6. Data retention

We keep application data for as long as needed to run our pilot and eligibility verification process, and no longer than 24 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner or a longer period is needed to comply with a legal or Sharia-audit obligation.

7. Children

AM Network is not directed at children. If you apply on behalf of a minor (for example, an orphan under guardianship), only the guardian's contact information should be submitted, not the minor's directly.

8. Changes to this policy

As we move from pre-launch to pilot and then to mainnet, this policy will be updated — particularly once we deploy the AI scoring API and oracle verification network. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever we make a material change.
