A Reminder

"Whoever glorifies Allah (SubhanAllah) after every prayer thirty-three times, praises Allah (Alhamdulillah) thirty-three times, and magnifies Allah (Allahu Akbar) thirty-three times — that is ninety-nine — then completes a hundred by saying: 'La ilaha illallah, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamd, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir' — his sins will be forgiven, even if they are like the foam of the sea."

— Narrated by Abu Hurairah · Sahih Muslim

"…When you go to bed, recite 'Subhan Allah' thirty-three times, 'Al-hamdu lillah' thirty-three times, and 'Allahu Akbar' thirty-four times." ‘Ali (his son-in-law) said: "I have never failed to recite it ever since."

— Narrated by ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib · Sahih al-Bukhari 5362
